Brigitte will be reading from her novel for young readers, ‘Kit and the Calico Cat’, and author and publisher Paul McAllister will read stories from his Herman Monster picture books. A Word Feast event.

Fun for all the family! Rock hunting, games, activities and drama based on children’s adventure story ‘Kit and the Calico Cat’ by author and illustrator Brigitte Marsden. Cat-themed clothing is encouraged!

Refreshments will be provided. There is no charge for this event.

Please note: parents are required to supervise their children.

The Book Cover Art & Design Show will feature the art and design of book covers by regional graphic artists and publishers.

It will also feature illustrations created by 12 year old Haylee Boone for author Brigitte Marsden’s children’s book Kit and the Calico Cat.

A selection of books illustrating the design and production characteristics of letter-press, photo-offset, and digital printing will round out the show.
